CAS Number:
Major component: Thiophosphoric acid containing netrogen
Molecular Formula: (C6H5NH)2PSSH
Description:
A white powder, insoluble in water, but soluble in alcohol, alkali liquor
Principal uses:
Amino-dithiophosphate is used in the flotation of non-ferrous metallic sulfide minerals. The collectivity of the amino-dithiophosphate is stronger, the selectivity of it is good. This reagent is mainly used in the flotation of lead and copper minerals in the presence of sphalerite and iron sulfide. It is also effective on raising recovery ratio of the flotation of gold or silver. Because amino-dithiophosphate is used in the flotation process, sometimes the cyanides as a depressant of sphalerite may be omitted.
